Dr Perrin completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, and went on to Cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney.
He has an extensive clinical and research background in the management of cardiac rhythm disorders. He completed a PhD in drug-induced arrhythmia at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute before pursuing postdoctoral studies and a clinical arrhythmia fellowship in Ottawa, Canada.
He has a special interest in genetic arrhythmia syndromes and the management of atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias with catheter ablation.
You could probably engage him on the prospects of Carlton, but if it is another dismal season, you might better ask about the cricket, the Victorian high country, hiking, or what he is reading.
